Real Betis, close to its record as away team

If the team wins or draws in Mallorca there will be 13 matches without losing away from Benito Villamarín Stadium

Real Betis is close to stablish a new record this Sunday against RCD Mallorca. The Green-and-White side could obtain the most number of games in a row without losing away from Benito Villamarín Stadium. With the victory against Deportivo Alavés on 25th of April, the team made up to the previous record: 12 matches without losing in season 96-97. Back then, the mean managed by Lorenzo Serra Ferrer obtained seven victories and five draws.

Whether if it’s a victory or a draw at Iberostar Estadi, Real Betis could change this part of its history. The matches played away have been crucial to understand the current position of the team at the top of the table in Liga Adelante. This outstanding streak started in Matchday 13, when the team drew 2-2 with Real Zaragoza.
