The team celebrates the fourth goal.

RBB Ladies 4-0 EDF Logroño: One step closer

The team will play against CD Fermaguín for the promotion

Real Betis Ladies won yesterday the second leg of the semifinal for the promotion to First Division. After beating EDF Logroño 1-2 in the first leg, the round was still not closed and the women managed by María Pry needed to finish the job. And they certainly did with an impressive performance (4-0, 6-1 in the aggregate).

The team wanted to control the match since the beginning, and they didn’t need much time to do it so. Real Betis took advantage in the score in the 4th minute with a goal scored by Irene. The rival, seeing that the round was escaping from their hands, pushed forward after this goal and had their best moments then. However, the girls handled the situation well and scored the second. Clau received a pass by Nana and put the ball in the back of the net. Only seconds after, Paula made the third with a peach of a goal that made the fans gathered in the stands go crazy.

The pace of the game lowered considerably in the second half, with the away team psychologically devastated. Real Betis managed to close the score with an Olympic goal scored by Paulita in the 69th.

The rival in the final for the promotion will be CD Fermaguin, from Canary islands. The first leg will be on the 11th or 12th of June (away) and the second on the 18th or 19th of June (home).
