Real Betis visits Tokyo Verdy and Yomiuri Giants facilities

These institutional visits are part of the 'Real Betis Week' project, which aims to introduce our brand, values and culture to the Japanese public.

Real Betis International Department has launched the second edition of the 'Real Betis Week' in Tokyo, a project awarded by Spanish LaLiga at the latest Club Conference as the best international activation of 2024.

Real Betis delegation, led by Ignacio Pinilla, head of this department, visited the facilities of Tokyo Verdy, club with which Real Betis signed a collaboration agreement last summer. Its vice president, Daisuke Kurita, welcomed the Real Betis delegation, which also had the opportunity to watch the first team's training session live.

Real Betis also visited the facilities of the J-League, Japan's top professional football competition. Additionally, with the collaboration of first-team player Marc Bartra, the club organized a digital meet & greet event that included Real Betis fans in Japan, local companies and media like DAZN. This event took place at 'El Castellano,' the first Spanish restaurant to open in Tokyo, and featured a flamenco performance.

Institutional visits have also continued on Wednesday morning. Real Betis delegation had the opportunity to join a tour of the new facilities of the Yomiuri Giants baseball club. Hiroomi Yamamoto, general director of Tokyo Giants Town?the team's new training centre inaugurated on March 1st?outlined the key aspects of their impressive new facilities. He also learned about the projects Real Betis has undertaken in recent months, such as the new Rafael Gordillo Training Centre and its commitment to sustainability and use of clean energy through the Forever Green platform.
