Real Betis Balompié and Roberto González Bayón 'Robert' have reached an agreement to extend the existing contract between them. The young striker (Mérida, 6^th of January of 2001) will continue as a Green and White until 2024.

Robert, who has been capped with Spain U18, arrived to the Academy in the 2013/2014 season from Mérida CF. The progression of the player in the lower categories has been constant.

Robert has played 20 matches and scored 11 goals so far this year with Betis Deportivo, team in which he is fixed in the starting eleven. His good performances with Real Betis second team drew the attention of Quique Setién, and he made his debut with the first team in the first leg of Copa del Rey against Real Club Racing de Santander.
