Match analysis: “We made a very complete game. We are very happy because, finally, we got that second victory in row that we were looking for and got close to it so many times. It’s a prize for the effort done by the players, as we have said in all those games when we got close. I’m very happy for them because the satisfaction in their faces is completely different to the ones we’ve seen in those games when we deserved it. We have put on a great performance against a very difficult rival. The number are really good, too. We stole the possession from a team that is used to have the ball all the time. We also reduced their number of chances. We created many chances, especially in the first half. When it was time to suffer because they were pushing, the team showed a great level, defending well and even having chances to score the second.”

Good final minutes: “The team keeps growing. We need to achieve regularity in our results but the growth is evident. That aspect is also important because we have lost points in the final minutes in many games. The team is learning and that’s the best of it all. We have outlined before the youth of this squad, and one of the best things of that youth is the eagerness and will to learn. We are learning from our mistakes, the technical staff, too.”
