Lorenzo Serra Ferrer (Sa Pobla, Mallorca, 1953) is the best manager in the history of Real Betis Balompié. He managed the club during two spells: between 1994 and 1997 and again from 2004 to 2006. during those years we claimed promotion to the top flight in 1994 in Burgos, secured qualification for the UEFA Cup with the third-place finish in 1995, reached the Copa del Rey final in 1997, secured a place in the 1997-98 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, won the Copa del Rey in 2005 and played in the Champions League the following season. No manager in the club's history can top his 263 games at the helm: 210 in the league, 33 in the Copa del Rey, 10 in the UEFA Cup, two in the Spanish Super Cup and eight in the UEFA Champions League.
