Clear win for Real Betis U18 A against Taraguilla (5-1)

Pozo, Dani Ceballos, Iván, Fabián and Braim were the goal scorers for Betis.

Real Betis U18 A has triumphed this Saturday at the Luis del Sol Training Centre against AD Taraguilla by 5-1. The Green-and-whites were in control of the match throughout and did not give the team from Cadiz the slightest option. Indeed, Gustavo Sánchez's lads could have opened the scoring in the first minutes of the match. And so the first goal was to come in the opening stages of the match when a centre by Luis Lara was finished off by Pozo. Despite all the scoring opportunities the Heliopolitan team had, the second goal wasn't to come until the 30th minute of the match when Dani Ceballos headed home a great centre by Sergio Rodríguez. Shortly after that Iván found an opening to score making it 3-0 which was to remain unchanged until the end of the first half.

The second half started in a very similar way as the first act, with Betis in control of the ball without giving their opponents space to go on attack. However, Taraguilla did have a chance to score in the 60th minute when they were awarded a penalty but Luisma missed. In the piece of play that led to the penalty being awarded José Carlos was shown a direct red card and sent off. Despite being a man down the Heliopolitan team were able to score the fourth goal of the match, this time it was Fabián, in the 64th minute. There was still time for more Amaya scored of a penalty for Taraguilla (4-1) thirty minutes into the second half. Just when the match was in the final straight, Braim rounded up the total number of goals for Betis, who entrench themselves in third place in the table with this result.
