The Verdiblancos were defeated, but they qualify for the next round

Real Betis Balompié suffered a narrow defeat (0-1) against KAA Gent, confirming their qualification for the UEFA Conference League round of 16.

The Verdiblancos had chances to take the lead and dominated for much of the match, but after Vitor Roque was sent off they had to suffer and Brown's late goal resulted.
