Betis B beats the U21 Andalusian team (2-1)

Jesus Muñoz and Isuardi, latter off a penalty, scored the goals for the reserves.

On Tuesday Betis B played a training match against the U21 Andalusian team in which they came out victorious winning 2-1, making a comeback after an opening goal scored by Selu. The Andalusian team, consisting of players from the Third Division, is preparing for its participation in the next edition of the UEFA Regions Cup.
The match was held on pitch number two at the Luis del Sol Training Centre, despite being a friendly match both teams played hard throughout the 90 minutes in an attempt to win the match. Although the Heliopolitan team accumulated more scoring opportunities than their rivals, it was the visitors who opened the scoring with a goal by Selu in the 15th minute of the second half. Despite that, Betis B reacted quickly and scarcely 10 minutes later Jesús Muñoz levelled. The Green-and-whites insistence obtained its reward in the final stages of the match when Jaime Isuardi converted a penalty that was blown up in his favour on the scoreboard, the definitive 2-1. Independently of the result of the match, it was useful for Oscar Cano to give his players match minutes including Jaime Isuardi and Luis Madrigal who have returned from injury.
