The Real Betis Balompié U8 expedition will travel this Friday to the region of Madrid to play the V Football 7 Tournament at Mejorada del Campo, organised by the Mejorada Football Academy for players born in 2004. The tournament will take place tomorrow Saturday in the “La Dehesa” Stadium at Mejorada del Campo.

The tournament, whose proceeds will go to the Spanish Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome Association, consists of eight teams divided into two groups. The group led by Fernando Caceres is drawn in Group 1 along with Rayo Vallecano, Mejorada Football Academy and Sevilla FC. Betis will inaugurate the championship against Sevilla at 09:30 am.

Subsequently, from 10:00 am onwards, the youngest team from Heliopolis will play the Mejorada Football Academy. The group stage will close at 11.00 am with the match against Rayo Vallecano. Group 2, meanwhile, consists of Atletico Madrid, Villarreal CF, Getafe CF and RSD Alcalá. The top two from each group will play the semifinals - at 12:30 pm - playing for a spot in the finals, scheduled for 1:30 pm.
