Real Betis will actively participate in the Andalusian Cup

This international youth-football tournament will be held in the city from 29th June to 5th July

Between 29th June to 5th July, coinciding with the final phases of the Brazil World Cup, the first edition of the Andalusian 2014 will be held in Seville. Real Betis Balompié will participate with a number of other teams in this international youth-football tournament to be held in our city; the tournament will count on the presence of some 20 teams, that have already confirmed their participation, with players of both sexes between 7 and 18 years of age. The final will be held in the Cartuja Stadium and the registration period is now open. Apart from the presence of Real Betis, Sevilla FC and AD Nervión the tournament will also include the participation of a youth team from Peru, from the Church of the Holy Family of Hualmay which was founded by Father Juan Salvador, and team from Mali brought by the Kanouté Foundation. 

 The teams will compete in six different locations spread around the Andalusian capital, staying in the best hotels in the city and enjoying a very complete leisure and cultural agenda which will run in conjunction with the Andalusian Cup. There will be visits to the main monuments and institutions, football stadiums and leisure facilities such as the Isla Mágica. 

 Joaquín Corriente and Juan García Soriano participated in the presentation of the event on behalf of the Club. The director of the Heliopolis Academy affirmed that "Real Betis will not just participate in this tournament with other teams, but all available resources will be provided and Real Betis will actively participate In the Andalusian Cup".
