Juanma: "The team is conscious of the fact that we can be group champions"

"The last matches are the most important ones and we have to get the most points possible"

The reserves forward Juanma will once again be the kingpin of Betis B's offensive line in the next match in their attempt to gain a positive result on a visit to CD Alcalá, a match that the player from San José de La Rinconada has qualified as being 'special', because of his recent past with the team from Alcalá. Juanma, who predicts that the match is going to be 'good' with 'lots of goals', advocates maintaining levels of concentration throughout the 90 minutes of the match so as not to return empty-handed from a difficult stadium to play at. Only San Roque de Lepe, the current leaders, have managed to get a victory there. If Betis were to win, and depending on the result that the team from Huelva get in their match, Betis B could take the top spot in Group 10 of the Third Division, an objective which according to the Betis forward "the team is set on".

Victory against San Roque: "We were expecting a tough match and we were mentally prepared from the first day of training that we had to get a result from the match and do something important, like getting the top spot, which I think is something we deserve because we are a team both on and off the pitch".

The fight is on for the top spot: "When there are points in play you have to keep fighting always. I think the team is conscious of the fact that we could be group champions".

Nine games without defeat: "We're hoping this good run will continue, we are entering into the key phase of the competition. The last matches are the most important ones and we have to get the most points possible".

CD Alcalá: "It will be special. I started the season there and I have a lot of appreciation both for the players and the manager. Also, I have spent the whole week texting with some of my ex-team mates. It will be a good match and I think there'll be a lot of goals. They put the pressure on especially in the second half, that is when they are more inspired at home. We have to put the pressure on for the full 90 minutes".

Good goal tally: "I'm happy and it's also boosted my confidence because that's what forward lives for. I'm not going to predict the goals I'll get during the season, I prefer to take it one match at a time".

Recovered players: "It's good for the team. Also, having to compete for a spot on the team makes you give more. So the four forwards in the team Álex Alegría, Marc, Jaime Isuardi and myself are going to be at our best".
