In addition to their league obligations five teams from the Real Betis Balompié Academy have participated in various tournaments this weekend in which they have brought home 2 championships and 3 runner-up places. More specifically on Friday Betis U10 B and Betis U8 were each proclaimed champions in their respective categories in the 'Peñon' International Seven-a-side Football Trophy held in the Sevillian town of Algámitas. To do so, Betis U10 B beat the Arahal football academy in the final 3-0, whereas the youngest of the teams from Heliopolis beat the Peloteros football academy (2-1).

On Friday Betis U11 B and Betis U8 also entered into the fray. The former participated in the Andalusian Day Tournament held at El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), in which they were proclaimed runners-up after drawing (0-0) in the final against Sevilla FC and failing in the penalty shoot out 2-3. Betis U8 A, on their part, played an important role in the Andalusian Day U8 7-a-side Tournament at Gibraleón (Huelva) in which, despite the age difference with all of their opponents, were only beaten by Recreativo de Huelva U12 in a very close final (2-3). On Saturday Betis U13 also participated in the Andalusian Day Tournament held at El Puerto de Santa María, winning second place after losing the final (1-2) against San Fernando A.
