Ángel Haro, with Joel Campbell.

Ángel Haro: “I’m very satisfied with the squad we have this year”

The chairman addressed the media

Real Betis chairman, Ángel Haro, has addressed the media today during the unveiling of Joel Campbell as new Green-and-White player. First of all, Haro wanted to welcome the Costa Rican: “Joel is a well-known and beloved player, because he caused a good impression five years ago when he played here. In the meantime, he has gained experience in big leagues. He is still a great player, but he is more experienced now. He’s coming home, because Betis has always been his home. We want you to continue helping us, making us a bigger club.”

Then, Haro has answered the questions by the media.

Is the squad closed?: “Yes, it’s done. We’ve done a big effort.”

Squad planning: “I’m very satisfied with the squad we have this year. We have used all the money we had and I think we have a balanced team. There’s a balance between national and foreign players. Most of them know what Betis is, and that’s important so they don’t have to spend much time adapting themselves.”

Season ticket holders: “We passed the 49,000 and we expect to reach 50,000 soon.”
