Cape Town, new Real Betis Academy location in South Africa

The new international project of the Green and White club -that already has a permanent Academy in Zimbabwe- will undertake a camp in this city

Real Betis will develop a new sporting project in South Africa, Real Betis Camp Cape Town, that joins the permanent academy the club has in the south of the African continent: Real Betis Academy Zimbabwe. Both sites are part of Real Betis international expansion strategy.

This new campus will take place between the 16th and 18th of May at Fuare Stadium in Cape Town. With this new project, the Club will offer great opportunities for growth to players in this city and its surroundings. Real Betis Academy will open its doors to all the future talents who would like to join Real Betis and improve their skills under the methodology of the Green and White club.

Real Betis Camp Cape Town is the first of several projects that will be made in the area, and it's aimed to boys and girls between 5 and 18 years of age. They will be able to train following the standards of top-tier football, supervised by coaches from Real Betis Youth Teams, who will travel from Seville to Cape Town.

Also, some of the players will have the opportunity to travel to Seville to live the experience Inside Betis. They will get to know the Club from within and train in Real Betis facilities.

Real Betis is developing this campus alongside Athletes Sphere Management, company also in charge of Real Betis Academy Zimbabwe, the first school to join Betis Academy, and that has already been working for three years and has 150 players. The Academy just created their first female team, coached by the former Zimbabwean international player Rudo Neshamba.

Real Betis Academy is the national and international program of grassroots football developed by Real Betis Balompié. The aim of this project is to take the Club's methodology around the world so boys and girls who want to improve their football skills can use the philosophy and technical and tactical advice of a top-level football club. More than 1,500 players are already part of Betis Academy. The project already has more than 25 international sites, in places such as United States, Egypt, Algeria, Zimbabwe, El Salvador, Venezuela or Georgia.
