Ceballos: "We have to connect with the fans from the kick-off”
“I think this is the week we have performed better during the trainings. We know what’s at stake on Saturday; it’s a final and we need to get the three points”, stated the player
The upcoming fixture on Saturday against Levante UD may be crucial and all the players in the squad are focused on finishing the negative streak. It is the most important game of the season so far and the only possible outcome is a victory. In these terms has spoken Dani Ceballos with the Club’s official media.
The game against Levante UD is a final: “It’s going to be. When it ends we’ll see where we stand, if we can be at ease or suffering until the end of the season. Let’s hope that with our work and the fans’ support we’ll get three crucial points for the remaining of the season.”
Failure is not an option: “We are playing against a direct rival that can get closer if they win. It would be a tragedy if Levante came here and won. We need to face all the remaining matches as they were finals. It all goes down to this Saturday. If we win we’ll be at ease for the rest.”
Attitude and intensity are the keys for success: “We must win whatever it takes, even if we struggle throughout the game. When it ends, we have to be the team that takes the three points. If we don’t, we’ll be nervous for the rest of the season, and that’s something that shouldn’t happen.”
Fans: “They have always been by our side, whether we have been up in the table or down. We have to connect with the fans from the kick-off. We are the ones who have to do it. We need to be the first to have a corner kick, the first shot on goal, and the first goal.”
