Tello scored in the second half

Real Betis continued tonight with the preparation for the start of LaLiga. The Green and Whites tied with SC Braga (1-1). Paulinho scored in the first half for the Portuguese and Tello balanced the scored in the second.

The game began with a high pace, with many fans gathered in Luis Rodríguez Slavadro Stadium in Cartaya. The first chance was for Braga through Ryller, but Joel Robles aborted the danger. Soon in the game, Sanabria had to leave after feeling some pain in his knee, being substituted by Rober.

Loren had the best chance so far in the game after a pass from Joaquín, but his effort went wide. Minutes later, Braga took the lead. Eduardo delivered a free kick to the centre of the box and Paulinho headed the ball in without opposition.

In the last play of the first half, SC Braga got a man sent off after a nasty tackle on Junior. Viana had already seen a yellow before and he referee showed the second.

Quique Setién changed all the players and the tactical formation for the second half. The game resumed and the Portuguese side continued to play hard, committing numerous fouls and using an unnecessary rough style, specially considering it was a friendly game.

However, Betis was moving the ball well and took not much time to level the score. Tello shot a free kick from distance and the ball went in close to the top-left corner. A superb execution by the winger.

In spite of Betis being in control, Braga had two really good chance after a counterattack. Novais shot to the post and the rebound fell for Esgaio, whose effort was deflected by Pau López.

Betis regain control and tried to score the second, but the rival defended well. The game was stopped for several minutes in the final stage. Novais was shown a red card for very ugly tackle on Kaptoum. All Braga players, including the bench and coaches, invaded the pitch and almost hit the referee. Horta was also sent-off for his protests. The game resumed but nothing else happened.
