Orihuela CF, the last rivals to play Betis B in the play-offs for promotion to the Second Division B
The first leg is to be played this weekend in the province of Alicante; and the second leg at the Benito Villamarín Stadium
Betis B now know who their next opponents will be in the fight for a place in the Second Division B next season in Spanish football. In the draw held this afternoon at the 'Soccer City' in Las Rozas (Madrid), the green-and-whites have been paired with Orihuela CF in the definitive knockout round for promotion to the bronze category in Spanish football.
The first leg match will be disputed at the Los Arcos municipal ground; whereas the second leg, with the definitive schedule still unknown, will be played on the 21st or 22nd of June at the Benito Villamarín Stadium.
Orihuela CF concluded their campaign this season in third position of Group VI with a total of 65 points, obtained from their 19 victories, 8 draws and 11 defeats having conceded only 31 goals and scoring 40. In order to reach this final knockout stage the team from Alicante has eliminated AD Unión Adarve and CD Izarra, winning three of the four matches played in the promotional play-offs to the Second Division B.
