New work session and Juan Merino has fell upon new setbacks in training today. Yesterday Dani Giménez had to retire due to some discomfort in his adductor. This morning, Dani has been tested which revealed slight elongation in the greater adductor. The player will be treated until Saturday.

Meanwhile, Kadir did not participate with the rest of his teammates in the session. An intestinal colic prevented the midfielder form training, but he is expected to return to tomorrow's workout and join the rest of his teammates to continue preparation for the last game of the year.

Today's session at the Training Centre was not open to the public. The team is focussing on getting their fourth consecutive win against Real Racing Club and finish the year in the best way possible. Racing have had a run of two defeats, two draws and one win in their last five games and need the points to get out from the relegation zone. So, Sunday's match in not going to be an easy one for Merino's men.
