Real Betis Balompié was defeated 2-1 in the match played this Sunday against Atlético de Madrid at the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium. The red and white team took the lead in the first half with an own goal from Rui Silva after a series of rebounds in the Betis area and another from Morata just before half-time. Real Betis reaction came after passing through the locker room. William Carvalho reduced the deficit with a great goal from outside the area in the 61st minute. The green and white team looked for a tie until the end but the scoreboard did not move again.
