MATCH REPORT | Real Betis leave the three points at home (3-0)
Guido Rodríguez, Pedraza and Aleñá scored their first goals as Green and Whites
A good performance by Real Betis Balompié tonight at Benito Villamarín Stadium, where the team left the three points after beating CA Osasuna. The team was superior to their rivals for the whole game. The Green and Whites took the lead early in the game with a header by Guido Rodríguez, and Pedraza scored the second also in the first half. At the end, Aleñá closed the score. The three of them scored their first goals as Betis players.
The match started well for Real Betis as the team needed only four minutes to take the lead. Guido headed in a cross delivered by Joaquín. First goal for the Argentine midfielder.
After the goal Osasuna tried to get to the other end for the first time, but Betis were controlling the ball and attacked with more determination. The next chance was for Fekir, who sent wide his shot. Two minutes later, Pedraza tried but found a good save from Herrera. The left back did find the net two minutes later after a great combination between him and Fekir.
The team continued in control and trying to attack, although Osasuna were trying a bit more at this point. The last of the first half was for Fekir, again after combining with Pedraza, but his effort was saved by Herrera.
The first of the second half was for Borja Iglesias, whose effort went just wide. Pedraza and Fekir also tried but both found a good save from the keeper.
The best so far in the second period was, once again, for the Frenchman. A free kick looking for the top right corner and again a good response from the visiting keeper. The next one was for Iglesias but the striker could not find the target with his header. The first on goal in the game for Osasuna came in the 832nd minute with a shot by Rocanglia that found a good save from Martín.
It seemed it was all over but in the 97th minute Aleñá made a good run a finished a good team play. Also his first as a Green and White.
