MATCH REPORT | The three points stay at home (3-2)

Álex Moreno, Juanmi and Willian José scored the goals

Real Betis Balompié got today three really important points at Benito Villamarín against Rayo Vallecano. The game started greatly for the Green and Whites, as the team scored twice in the first half an hour. However, the visitors tied the score up. Fifteen minutes before the end, Willian José certified the victory with a goal from a penalty kick.

After the kick-off, Betis controlled the game and started attacking soon. This way, Álex Moreno gave the team the lead with a great strike to the top-left corner. Just one minute later, Juanmi double the lead with a great strike. The goal took its time to be shown on the scoreboard, as the VAR took a long time to review it.

It seemed that the game was going into half time with 2-0 when, in the added time of the first half, a terrible mistake by Betis' defense made easy for Nteka to cut the lead.

The visitors started strong in the second half and Álvaro García scored their second goal. A few minutes later, though, Álex Moreno was brought down inside the area and the referee pointed to the spot. Willian José took the responsibility and did not miss the chance.
