Official statement from Real Betis Balompié administration board
Due to the current situation of Real Betis Balompié first team, the sporting commission and the administration board at the Club have held, in the last few days, several meetings and interviews with all the parties to analyse this situation and make all the amends necessary to change it.
Real Betis administration board, gathered this morning, have decided to not change the technical management of the first team and keep Quique Setién and his technical staff in charge of the team. The Club, as it has been stated in the last months, will undertake the appropriate assessment once LaLiga season is finished.
During these meetings, all the parties have expressed that performances like last Wednesday cannot be repeated. Players and coaches have shown their commitment towards Real Betis and the fans, and explain that they feel able of reverting this situation and competing to their best level in the games left to be played.
The administration board at Real Betis Balompié asks for unity and the support of all the béticos to fight together until the end of the season and achieve the best possible results.
