Paulao exercised separately from the group
The Brazilian, along with Chuli, Amaya, Nosa and Nacho, worked with the fitness coach Fran Molano
On pitch one of the Luis del Sol Training Centre, Calderón's team continued their preparation for next Sunday's match against UD Almeria. The absences due to injury once again obliged the Argentine coach to call upon apprentices from the Heliopolis Academy. Consequently, Dani Ceballos, Pozo, Braganza, Pibe and Pedro have all increased their chances of being included in the squad.
Insofar as sidelined players, Paulao trained separately from the rest of the group. Fatigue in his left adductor meant that the Brazilian had to exercise with the fitness coach Fran Molano, as did Xavi Torres who was able to train for a while with the rest of the group. In this session Chuli was seen making continuous runs at a good pace, a fact which demonstrates that recovery from his injuries is going well.
Those who remained indoors included Amaya, Nosa and Nacho, these players received the attention of the physiotherapists continuing with the specific recovery programs to overcome their injuries. In any case, as long as there are no serious problems, none of the three footballers will be at the Juegos del Mediterráneo Stadium on Sunday.
