Real Betis and Columbus Crew SC reach agreement for the transfer of 'Cucho' Hernández
Contract signed until 2030
Real Betis Balompié and Columbus Crew SC have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Colombian player, who also holds Spanish nationality, Cucho Hernández.
Juan Camilo Hernández Suárez (born in Pereira, Colombia, 20/04/1999) began his footballing career at Deportivo Pereira before being signed by Watford FC as a youth player.
He subsequently continued his development at CD América de Cali, SD Huesca, RCD Mallorca, Getafe CF, and Watford FC, where he scored on his Premier League debut.
In 2022, he joined Columbus Crew SC in Major League Soccer (MLS), where he won both the MLS Cup and the Leagues Cup. Throughout his career, he has made 290 appearances, scoring 111 goals and providing 44 assists.
The new Betis player has also represented the Colombian national team on five occasions, scoring twice.
