Real Betis, the 34th most valuable club in the world and the third that grew most, according to Brand Finance

The green and white club climbed nine positions with respect to the ranking by international consultants from the past season and grew its brand value by 31%

The international consultant Brand Finance has released its annual report 'Football 50 2023' about the most valuable brands in the world of soccer. Real Betis has jumped up its former ranking, due to its leading valuation firm and marketing strategy. The club has risen from the 43rd position in 2022 to the 34th position in the present year, becoming the third most rapidly growing entity (with 31% growth). 


Additionally their sports consolidation is among the best teams of LaLiga, with three consecutive years in the six primaries and the winner of the Copa del Rey in 2022, material infrastructure projects included in the Strategic Plan 2022-2026 such as the new Rafael Gordillo Sports City or the upcoming construction of the new Benito Villamarín Stadium has given a growing value fitting for an institution that wants to keep growing and consolidating among the best. 


In this sense, they've also added other initiatives to their rise and have  included Forever Green in the Strategic Plan 2022-2026, which has turned Real Betis into the second most sustainable football club on the planet, according to Brand Finance, only behind Liverpool and in front of another world giant, Real Madrid. 


Similarly, Real Betis wishes to grow the value of their brand with their international expansion thanks to their academies, that are contributing to the growth outside the borders of the club which counts a growing social support with 77,000 investors, of which 50,373 are subscribers with seats and a massive public attendance in their stadium every week. 


The classification published for the international consultant situated Manchester City as the most valuable brand followed by Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Liverpool FC, Paris SG and Bayern. WIth respect to the teams of LaLiga, Real Betis ascended to the fifth position of LaLiga behind Real Madrid (2), FC Barcelona (3), Atlético de Madrid (12) y Sevilla FC (25), and in front of Villarreal CF (36), Real Sociedad (37) y Valencia CF (47).
