Sanabria: “I have to give everything for my team”
“I went through a hard time during my injury, but I knew I had to work hard to come back as soon as possible”, says the striker
Real Betis striker, Tonny Sanabria, has done a press conference today in the press room at Luis del Sol Training Centre. The player has explained the recovery process of the injury he suffered, as well as his desire to score his first goal as Green-and-White.
Return after the injury: “After a long time injured, I’m again with the team. I’m not 100% yet, but I’m getting the pace and I feel better after every training session and every game. I hope I’ll be even better on Sunday. It’s obvious I’m recovered and I’m very happy to be with the team again. I feel like I have to give everything for my team”
Rubén Castro was in the bench last game: “That’s a decision for the manager, there’s no point to ask me that. I can have a good connection with Rubén, I think we showed it in the games we played together. He’s a great player and is also here to help the team.”
How did you cope with the injury?: “I went through a hard time. When you are young you want to play as many games as possible, and I couldn’t play then. I didn’t break down, though. I knew I had to work hard to come back as soon as possible.”
Tactic system: “The player always tries to adapt to the system that the manager wants. Every game is different and we have to plan it depending on the rival so we can play better. Every working week is different.”
First goal: “Since the first day, I wanted to score as soon as possible. We, the strikers, live on goals, if you don’t score you are nobody. I hope it comes soon, hopefully this Sunday.”
