Velázquez: "We lost the game"
The manger analysed the defeat in the press room
Velázquez appeared in the pressroom at El Sadar after the match. The manager analysed his teams defeat differentiating the two haves played by the green-and-whites concluding that it was Real Betis who lost the match. "The first half was fantastic, the team was looking really good and could have come in at half time with a 0-3, 0-4 or 0-5 on the scoreboard. The first half was really good but you cannot lose a match in the way we lost it. We feel like shit because we did a lot to have won the match but then we lost it, Osasuna didn't win it". The green-and-white manager analysed the set plays. "How can it be that they score three goals, one after the other in situations we do not have problems with, making me feel as shitty as I do in this moment". Finally, Velázquez added that "at the moment my job is secondary. At this emotional time it is best not to think too much, tomorrow we will go over the mistakes made and, more than anything else, focus on the next match".
