Julio Velázquez gave a press conference after his team triumphed after coming back from being one goal down. The manager stated that he was "pleased because we have beaten a fabulous team and because of the way we made the comeback. I am very happy for the players and for the fans who deserve it. The team's ability to react was great. We were up against a team that if they have possession of the ball they usually score so that males me really proud. This is off the back of a two week run in which we have made our fans suffer and they deserve this victory".

Rubén's position: "Rubén can play anywhere up front. Of course his natural position is centre forward but we had to make some adjustments on the wings. Little by little the wingers are adapting and that allows us to play Rubén close to the area. I am very pleased with him because he has a tremendous commitment to Betis".

The match: "For me the positive aspects outweigh the rest: ability to react, three points, sacrifice, commitment, the participation of the substitutes... There were a lot of positive things about the match but there is always room for improvement. I am really pleased because finally we have given the fans something to be happy about".
