Real Betis and footballer Heiko Westermann have reached an agreement to terminate the contract that bound them. Real Betis would like to thank Westermann for his services and wishes him all the best in the future.

The German defender wanted to bid farewell to the fans: “I spent a beautiful time at Betis. I liked the Club, the city… but this is football and we need to move forward. Now I’m excited about my new stage in a new club. I want to thank everyone for the way they treated me, specially the fans. I wish Betis the best in the next season”.
