Pezzella leaves for River Plate
The Argentine team has acquired his services by paying a transfer fee equal to the value of his release clause.
Germán Pezzella has been transferred to River Plate, thus returning to the club where he was formed. The Argentine team acquired the services of the Real Betis Balompié player after the exit agreement reached between the parties for the value of his termination clause.
Germán Pezzella (Bahía Blanca, Argentina, 1991) joined Real Betis for the first time in the summer of 2015. After two years in the club, he left in 2017 for ACF Fiorentina, to return again to Heliópolis in August 2021.
Since his arrival at Real Betis Balompié, Pezzella has played 179 official matches, being one of the key players of the conquest of the Copa del Rey in 2022. In addition, the Bahía Blanca defender was one of the captains of the Betis team.
