New training session at Luis del Sol Training Centre
Van der Vaart continues with his recovery process
Real Betis first team continues to prepare the match on Saturday against Real Madrid CF. The men managed by Pepe Mel have worked today in the training ground, in a session without any bad news or injuries. In this way, the only player out is Rafael van der Vaart. The Dutch player is still working in the recovery of the injury he suffered in his right ankle. Van der Vaart won’t be available for the match in Madrid, but his recovery is going as planned. Matilla, on his part, has completed part of the session with the rest of the team.
Regarding the possible starting eleven that Mel could choose to play in Santiago Bernabéu, the manager has organized a practice match with Adán, Piccini, Pezzella, Bruno, Vargas, Cejudo, Xavi Torres, N'Diaye, Portillo, Jorge Molina and Rubén Castro. This would mean that Mel could use the same players that started off against Villarreal CF. In the second half of the practice match, Ceballos has substituted Portillo.
Tomorrow the team will train again before travelling to Madrid.
