(NASDAQ: CHKP), a world leader in the sector, have reached an agreement with Real Betis Balompié to implement a mechanism or protection engine in mobile phones through the Club's official app. The Green and White institution becomes the first football team in the world to implement this technology for their fans benefit.

This protection secures the official app, as well as the content of the users of said app. At the same time, the system will alert the users about possible threats or vulnerabilities in every device, giving suggestions about what to do in the case threats are detected in the devices.

When a Real Betis app user opens the menu, the SandBlast App Protect engines by Check Point Software will check if there are threats in the device without compromising of storing any kind of information that may affect the privacy or personal data of the user.

In case of detection, a pop-up window will inform about the issue. If it is a minor threat, different actions will be advised according to the level of the threat. If it is a serious threat, the incidence will be reported and the user will be advised to download the app Check Point Zone Alarm Mobile to solve all the threats in their device. In the case no anomalies are detected, the app will display an icon in the lower part of the screen informing that the device is protected by SandBlast App Protect.

To enjoy this new feature, the first step is to update the app if already installed. For this, is necessary to close the current session. Once the new version is installed, it is necessary to sign in and select the kind of user. The categories 'Season ticket holder' and 'Soy Bético', have been unified as 'Members'. Once the ID number and the PIN are entered, the fans will be able to access the new version of the app, with the SandBlast App Protect by Check Point engines already installed.
