Real Betis chairman, Ángel Haro, spoke after the hard defeat the team suffered at Leganés.

“It is shameful and indecent to see how Real Betis crest is being dragged on the floor. The professionals have to stop and think. I was expecting a little bit more of self-respect in these last games and I’m seeing the team is not competing. It’s sad to see what’s happening to Betis. We will make all the decisions that we need and we will make all the changes that are necessary inside and outside the dressing room, so this team becomes more competitive and what the fans deserve. Not this. Obviously, I have to apologise to the fans who have seen this disgrace and some previous ones. I don’t want excuses or things such as ‘the players have relaxed because there’s nothing at stake1. They get paid every month and what I’m witnessing is an absolute shame.”
