Braian Rodriguez: "We always go out to win no matter where the stadium is"

"The whole team supports the boss and the decisions he makes", declared the Uruguayan striker

Pepe Mel announced in the press conference that Braian Rodriguez would take centre stage in the offensive line for tomorrow's match against Vitória Sport Clube. The Uruguayan striker accompanied the Real Betis manager at the press conference in the build up to the match with the Portuguese team. Braian feels that a victory tomorrow is crucial to sentence classification for the next round. The South American striker valued the opportunity to be a starter and was concious of the criticism levelled against him in terms of his performance in recent matches.

Lack of match time: "We will work hard to get a favourable outcome for Betis. If the boss doesn't give me match time that's his decision, he's the boss and he'll have seen that there are players that are doing better than me. I just have to train hard and show what I'm capable of".

Do you think your limited match time is justified?: "All players want to play, even if it's just a minute. The manager decides on the changes and fields the players that will benefit Betis, not to make things worse for Betis. The whole team supports the boss and the decisions he makes".

Criticism: "All I have to worry about is what the boss and my team mates say and nothing else. Criticism doesn't bother me, I only pay attention to what the boss says and all the colleagues that I play with".

A victory is vital for classification: "The whole team is psyched up to win. We always go out to win and bring home the three points no matter where the stadium is. Tomorrow we'll have a great game and get the three points for Spain".
