Real Betis collaborates with the Alcaraleña Special Education Association

Several players from the first team and Rafael Gordillo were photographed with the children

Several players from the Real Betis first team have had their photographs taken with various members of the Alcaraleña Special Education Association (Asociación Alcalareña de Educación Especial) to be included in the association's calendar. The calendar will be put on sale to raise money for the association.

Joan Verdú, Antonio Amaya and Xavi Torres were among other players taking part in the photo shot together with Rafael Gordillo, the President of the Foundation. Xavi himself highlighted the inherent importance of involvement of a club like Real Betis with associations like this. "It is certainly no hardship for us to have some photos taken in the knowledge that we are helping them."

The Alcaraleña Special Education Association (AAEE) works to improve the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities, creating support programs that adapt to their overall development, their needs and those of their families. These programmes are aimed at the promotion of educational, social and occupational integration. El calendar, which will exclusively feature Real Betis, will be on sale soon.
