The defender addressed the media

Real Betis defender Zouhair Feddal has addressed the media today in press conference.

Game against FC Barcelona: “We are not happy with the game we played. We played at Camp Nou and it’s a difficult venue for all the teams. It’s true that it was the first game of the season but we could have done better. For this reason, we have to learn from what happened and try to use for the nest game.”

Dis the team lack bravery?: “We tried. The idea is to play from the keeper. It’s what we tried from the first moment but Barcelona pressed well, covered the spaces. Not bravery, I don’t think so. My teammates, when they play, the go with everything. The game didn’t work out well for us for different reasons. We have to learn and don’t let it happened again.”

Debut at Benito Villamarín: “We are eager. We are excited and grateful for the love we’re constantly receiving from the fans. Even when you walk on the street you can see how excited they are and we can’t let them down. For this reason, we are looking forward to making a great game and taking the three points.”

RC Celta de Vigo: “They are a good rival, similar to FC Barcelona because they like to have possession. They have a coach who has spent his entire life at Barça. We know that their philosophy is to play football, but they’ll have it difficult here with our fans and the eagerness we have to play at Benito Villamarín. We’ll go for everything.”

How did you feel playing with Mandi by your side at Camp Nou?: “Great. I feel good with him and all the other teammates. I adapt to each teammate and I try to use the moments the coach gives me and we are at his disposal. I have a good understanding with Mandi.”

Adaptation to Setién’s system: “I don’t know why people say this. Last year we were a team of waiting in defence and counterattack, but we also play with an advanced defence because the coach, Pellegrino in this case, wanted this. It doesn’t change anything. It’s about being well placed, focused, and cover our backs if someone fails. The adaptation is good and I’m sure it’ll improve.”

Pezzella: “Everyone makes his own decisions and I respect that. I met him for a short time but I think he’s a great guy, a good person, so I wish him all the best. We would have like him to stay.”
