The defence of five is settling in

The manager has renewed tests with two wing backs and three full backs

With each training session that goes by Calderón maintains the idea of fielding a defence of five in the forthcoming match against Granada. In a session where high-intensity exercise was the mainstay of the workout from the beginning, the Argentine coach has repeated the same eleven when he split the group in two: Adán; Juanfran, Amaya, N'Diaye, Jordi, Juan Carlos; Lolo, Nono, Verdú; Molina and Rubén. He continued to work with this same eleven yesterday. It would be the same line-up that got the victory against Espanyol except Nono and Molina who have been replaced by Chuli and Salva Sevilla.

With these two changes, the tactical attacking formation has been amended; however, the defence and midfield remains the same. Whatever the case, there is still time to make adjustments before next Sunday's match. There still remains a lot of training time ahead and The Betis manager is sure to continue trying things out, if not in the formation then with variations in the players.
