Real Betis comes back at the end in San Sebastián

Real Betis travelled to San Sebastián to face Real Sociedad in the first of the two games the teams are going to play against each other in just three days. First, in LaLiga, while the showdown in Copa del Rey will take place back in Seville on Tuesday. This first match ended up with the teams sharing the points after a nail-biting end, as the Green and Whites managed to score two goals in the final five minutes.

The first half saw a really even performance from both sides, as none of the teams left the opponent enjoy barely chances. However, the home side had the best occasion with a shot from Guridi to which Joel Robles responded fantastically. Fekir led Betis in attack, constantly creating danger but without clear chances.

In the second half, Real Sociedad came on with a higher pace and managed to score two goals in the first 15 minutes. Isak and Oyarzabal gave their team a two-goal advantage that seemed definite. However, the game changed completely in the final minutes. Betis gave a push and turn the game upside down. Joaquín, who came on with 13 minutes left to play, delivered a great cross that Canales headed in. Then, in the added time, the skipper finished a play by Tello.
