Real Betis signs Roman Zozulya

He arrives with no fee and signs for the next three seasons: “My wish has come true”

Roman Zozulya is a new Real Betis player. The Ukrainian striker, who can play in several positions in the attack, arrives with no fee after terminating his contract with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, and signs for the next three seasons. The player has undergone the appropriate medical test in Madrid this morning, and is expected to join the team next week.

Roman Zozulya (Kiev, 1989) is 26 years old and 1.76 metres tall. He was raised as a player in the academy in FC Dynamo Kiev, and made the debut with the first team in 2008. He was transferred to FC Dnipro in 2011. Since his debut, he has played more than 200 games at top level, scoring 45 goals and giving 43 assists.

He has been capped with Ukraine national team in the U17, U19, and U21. He became European champion U19 in 2009. Since 2010, he has been capped with Ukraine national team 29 times, and has scored four goals.

The player, in his first words for www.realbetisbalompie.es/en, says that “every player in Ukraine dreams of playing in LaLiga. I’m very happy because my wish has come true. I’m very happy for signing with Real Betis. I’m going to give everything so the fans can be happy. I’ll give my 100% in every game”.
