Fight against cardiovascular diseases in sports

The friendly match that will be played next Saturday 7 of August between Real Betis Balompié and AS Roma will be part of the first edition of the 'Unbeatables Cup'. Apart from the game at Benito Villamarín Stadium ? that will kick off at 10 p.m. (CEST)- another friendly game will be played between ACF Fiorentina and RCD Espanyol at Artemio Franchi Stadium at 7 p.m. The tournament will have two winners, one in each match.

The torunament gets its name from the association 'Unbeatables', that has been working for years in the research about cardiovascular illnesses and sudden death.

The main activities carried out by 'Unbeatables' are as follow:
-Sensibilization about these diseases, especially among young sportspeople.
-Funding of research projects about cardiovascular diseases of genetic origin.
-Donation of defibrillators in sports centres, making formation courses about their use.

The 'Unbeatables Cup' is sponsored by Mahd Academy, a Saudi governmental entity that works as an accelerator for the advance of different sporting disciplines.
