Real Betis first team has returned to the training ground today after the victory obtained against Rayo Vallecano de Madrid. The week starts in Luis del Sol Training Centre with the upcoming friendly match on Thursday against Mérida AD on sight. The players in the starting eleven yesterday have been doing recovery work after doing part of the training on the pitch. The ones that came on from the bench and the ones that didn’t play have completed the demanding exercises under an intense rain.

The bad news has come with Ricky Van Wolfswinkel. The Dutch striker has been forced to leave the session after a few minutes to a neck strain. He is expected to return with the group later this week. The problems in his neck made impossible for Van Wolfswinkel to play yesterday.
