Moyita: "We must approach every game with a winning mentality"

"Calderón told us that to succeed you have to be humble, work hard and be good team mates"

He was one of the major players in Betis B's last league match. Sergio Dueñas Ruiz, better known as Moyita, scored the goal that gave the green-and-whites the victory after 90 hard fought minutes under intense rainfall in La Palma del Condado. But the attacking midfielder from Osuna, who participated in Gabi Calderón's training session for the Club's youth players on Wednesday, prefers to focus on the next matches saying that "We must approach every game with a winning mentality" to avoid surprises and continue with the winning streak.

The match in La Palma: "It was a tough match because of the state of the pitch, it rained for the whole 90 minutes. La Palma have conceded very few points in their home matches. Despite everything, we went out to win and we controlled the match. I'm very happy to have scored but more so for the victory in itself, the team is doing really well at the moment".

Increased point difference with those in fifth place: “At this stage in the league the greater the advantage between us and those behind us the better. The are less match days and we can't fail in any match”.

The next rival, CD Pozoblanco: “You can't take any rival for granted. One day you can beat the leaders and the next you lose a match against a team from the bottom of the league. So we must approach every game with a winning mentality. We shall go out there to win and give it out all right from the start”.

Fitness: “I am at my best at the moment. I didn't start the season that well, but I have improved with each match day the goes by; now I am much better and really psyched to continue working hard and improving”.

The youth training session with Gabi Calderón: "I think the boss's idea was a good one to get a better idea of the players in the pipeline. In this way if at any given time he considers it appropriate he can give a player the chance to help out. Calderón told us that to succeed you have to be humble, work hard and be good team mates”.
