Rafa Navarro: “I think the team is very motivated and eager”

“I am very happy to be part of a club like Real Betis, I am extremely enthusiastic about the work and I want to make the most of this fantastic opportunity”, declared the defender

The first signing of the season for Betis B saw Rafa Navarro's return to the Heliopolitan Club. The defender, originally form Valencina de la Concepción, was in Betis U18 A two seasons ago and, after playing for CD Gerena - where he played more than thirty matches in Group X of the Third Division - he has returned “extremely enthusiastic about the work and I want to make the most of this fantastic opportunity”, according to declarations to the Club's official website.

Happy to be back: “I am very happy to be part of a club like Real Betis, I am extremely enthusiastic about the work and I want to make the most of this fantastic opportunity. I would also like to thank my former colleagues of CD Gerena and the coach".

The first weeks of training: “We're having double training sessions and friendly matches. There is a great atmosphere with the team and the coaching staff. There's a great feeling, little by little we are gaining form to be at full tilt for the beginning of the season. With Juan Merino and Capi we are going to learn a lot this year. Their idea is to have a group of players that are ambitious, enthusiastic and above all united”.

Personal objectives for the forthcoming season: “I want to learn from my teammates as well as the coaching staff so I can continue developing as a player so if I get the chance to play with the first team I can make the most of it”.

The competition in Group IV of the Second Division B: “I think the team is very motivated and eager to start. We are working hard so that we will be ready for this nice and demanding competition”.
