N'Diaye participated in Senegal's victory against Egypt (2-0)

The centre half came on in the final minutes of the match in substitution for Kouyaté

Alfred N'Diaye, the Real Betis Balompié midfielder, took part in Senegal's victory against Egypt in a match that was played in Dakar tonight. The Betis centre half came on in the 83rd minute to substitute the West Ham United FC midfielder, Cheikhou Kouyaté; he contributed in a triumph that has put Senegal at the head of their qualifying group in the African Nations Cup, ahead of Tunisia, Botswana and Egypt.

The team managed by the French coach, Alain Giresse, obtained victory thanks to the goals by Diouf and Mané during the first half. This result gives that team a lot of confidence prior to next Wednesday's match against Botswana. Consequently, N'Diaye will stay with the Senegalese squad until the aforementioned match, the second in this group phase to progress in this African tournament. The tournament proper will be held from 17 January till 8 February 2015 in Morocco.

Once the match against Botswana has been played, N'Diaye will return to Seville to prepare for next Sunday's match against Albacete Balompié, scheduled for 6.30 pm 14 September at the Benito Villamarín Stadium.
