Real Betis and Rodri have reached an agreement for the extension of the contract existing between them. This way, the young player signs a deal until 2026.

Rodrigo Sánchez (16 of May 0f 2000) arrived to Real Betis Youth teams in 2016. Since his arrival, the young midfielder started to outstand due to his great technique, skills and vision. Even in his first years, he started to play with the U21 team, becoming a key player in Real Betis' second team.

Last season, Rodri drew the attention of Manuel Pellegrini, who called him up to the first team for some games. With the senior squad, Rodri has played 38 games in total, scored two goals and provided four assists.
