New Real Betis Balompié player spoke for Betis TV after signing his contract with The Green-and-White Club. The Peruvian player admitted his thrill for this new challenge in his career.

How do you feel signing for Real Betis?: “I’m really happy for this new experience in my career. I’m calm and eager to give my 100 %.”

What do you expect in this new stage in your career?: “I just want to make things right and try to give my best to help Betis. The best I have shown during my time in Italy, I want to prove it here in Betis.”

What can Vargas bring to Real Betis?: “I want to bring the experience I’ve earned in Italy. I want a place in the starting eleven with humbleness and trying to give everything to fight for that spot.”

What did you know about Real Betis?: “It’s an institution with a long history. I played against them last year with ACF Fiorentina. I think Betis has great fans that are very close to the team. I hope I can earn the trust from my teammates and the people coming to cheer us.”

Arrival to Seville: “It was very nice to see all the love from the Peruvians when I arrived to the city. I hope they can join me tomorrow during my induction. I’m very happy and excited with this new adventure.”
