Velázquez: "We don't think it is easy to win"

The manager gave a positive evaluation of his team's work

Julio Velázquez attended the media in the pressroom satisfied with the work put in by his team and the six points in the bag. The manager gave his opinion of the match stating that he was “happy and proud of the work done by the team. It was a hard match against a very hard working team but there were eight or nine scoring opportunities for our team in which we got to our rival's goal. In reality their equaliser came as a result of a specific piece of play. In the second half I really liked the team. We don't think it is easy to win. Teams like Numancia come here with nothing to lose”.

Molinero: “The referee did not let him come back on because he had stained his second shirt with blood. The same has happened in many other places. In the end I decided to substitute him. I put Nono on to get more out of the transitional situations. I did not want the situation to spread any further. We were planning to make some modifications at half time. The same thing happened the other day in Marseille with another player who could not continue due to a problem with his shirts".

The dynamics of the matches: “It is only normal to find it difficult to get into matches. And if they equalise it makes it even more difficult. But the scoring opportunities we had make me more optimistic. Typically you see a lot of matches like the one today. The team found ways to dominate more in the second half. I am satisfied with the players”.

N´Diaye: “What he earns doesn't come into it for me. In my mind Ndiaye is just as important as Casado or Dani Giménez. In the end I think that when you individualise things, problems can appear. I am very happy with Alfred. His preseason has not been normal. Now he has to go and he won't be available for the King's Cup. I do things taking into account all the squad”.

Transfer market: “In permanent communication with the technical secretary and the Board. There may be some departures and some newcomers. I will not talk about names or positions. Even if there are no changes I am happy with what I have got. This category is not an easy one. There is predisposition in terms of what has been proposed. I would go to the end of the world with the team I have”.

Nono: "Nono played because what we were looking for was to have pace and more sequential passing; To be more compact and vertical movement up the wings. Since I started training here I haven't made any decisions based on whether we are talking about Tom, Dick or Harry. If I ever start doing that, I shall leave. My decisions are based on what is good for the team. I have to make a lot of decisions every day and they are never going to be to everyone's liking, nor are you always going to get it right.
