Real Betis complete the last training session at San Pedro del Pinatar

Velázquez programmed a physical training session; the team will return to Seville at midday

The last training session for Velázquez's men started this morning at 10 AM at San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia), where the Betis team arrived on Wednesday, 16 July. The six days of demanding work is behind them now, a period in which the coach from Salamanca prepared physical training exercises in the morning session and concentrated on tactical aspects in the afternoons. For this last session in Murcia, Velázquez gave the physical trainer, Luis Arnau, control of session in which he organised a series of physical circuits consisting of diverse activities to be fulfilled by the team.

At midday after a lunch at the team's hotel, they will set off on their return journey to Seville. Velázquez, who wanted to control the physical demands placed on the players, chose not to overload their legs in this initial stage of the preseason and has decided that they shall be given Thursday off. The Betis team will return to work on Friday when there will be a morning training session and another preseason friendly match, this time against Atlético Sanluqueño CF.

Chuli, Lolo Reyes, Juanfran and Braian Rodríguez did not participate in the last group session at the Pinatar Arena, a training camp in which it should be highlighted that there have been no injuries of any magnitude.
