A training session on the beach to close a day of work on Monday

Tomorrow, a new friendly match against Elche CF at 8 PM

Julio Velázquez's team concluded the day's work on the beach of San Pedro del Pinatar. The coaching team had programmed a less demanding day of training after last night's victory against FC Cartagena (1-3). They went to an enclave on the Mediterranean to continue working on other aspects not just football. The session helped to forge links between the team and to further strengthen the exceptional atmosphere within the Betis squad.

The team had a run which ended up on the beach; once there they played a number of football-tennis matches which was accompanied by laughter and tremendous competitiveness in each match. They also ran back to the Mercure Thalasia Hotel, crossing the salt mines and the sands of San Pedro del Pinatar, closing the training sessions for the start of the week. In this way the two training sessions of the day finished, vastly different from previous training sessions in this preseason (physical training in the morning and tactical work in the afternoon). The team managed by the coach from Salamanca will return to work on the turf at Pinatar Arena early in the morning to prepare for the match against Elche CF at the same venue at 8 PM.
